We are delighted to announce that we recently sponsored the  land speed record attempt in a tuk tuk,  by our client, Matt Everard from Billericay and to everyone’s delight he a set a new world record.

The target set by Guinness World Records was 68.35 mph and Matt reached a speed of 74.306 mph in a 1971 three wheeled tuk tuk from Bangkok!

Matt was joined in the tuk tuk by his cousin Russell Shearman as extra weight was needed in the back to keep the vehicle on the road.

Matt said that he was “over the moon and feels brilliant” and it does not look like he is going to stop there as he now has his eyes set on going even faster and getting the three wheeled speedster up to 100 mph.

Andrew Wand Managing Partner said ” I have known Matt for many years and I thought if he is mad enough to try it I will try and help with a bit of sponsorship. I look forward to the 100 mph attempt, but I will not be volunteering to add extra weight to the back and will make sure he has done his Will first!!”
